It’s another awkward meet of the parents, where cultures clash in Netflix’s newest rom-com: You People.
Ezra (Jonah Hill) hasn’t had the best luck with romance until he meets Amira (Lauren London). But, there’s another challenge he has to face before he asks to marry her: their families meeting.
The film is filled with heavy comedy hitters within the two families with Eddie Murphy, Nia Long, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and David Duchovny. It looks to be like an uncomfortable time for the characters but a comical one for audiences.
You People is written by Kenya Barris and Jonah Hill and directed by Kenya Barris. It stars Jonah Hill, Eddie Murphy, Lauren London, Nia Long and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. It will be released on Netflix on January 27th.
