When you wish upon a star… sometimes it answers back. That’s the journey that begins in Pixar’s newest: Wish.

A 17-year-old girl named Asha (Ariana DeBose) makes a wish to the stars in a moment of need as she senses danger in the Kingdom.

Walt Disney Animation is celebrating their 100th year anniversary, and in many ways this has the fittings for a return to form, a throwback to the fairytales they began with. If the trailer can confirm one thing: it’s beautiful to look at.

Directed by Chris Buck and Fawn Veerasunthorn and stars Chris Pine, Ariana DeBose and Alan Tudyk. It will be released in theaters in the US in November 22nd.
