THE WOLF OF SNOW HOLLOW Trailer

There’s a monster afoot (apaw?) in The Wolf of Snow Hollow, the latest from writer/director Jim Cummings.
John already had enough going on before people started getting ripped apart. A sobriety battle, an aging father, and the joys of a teenage daughter were keeping him plenty busy, then strange murders started happening in his otherwise quiet town. Angling to move up in the police department, he tries to lead the investigation in a calm, methodical manner, but when all clues point to a werewolf, the case becomes anything but calm and methodical.
Many who saw Cummings’ previous feature, Thunder Road, have been anxious to see him get bigger budgets and more opportunities. That film impressed with its uncomfortable deep dive into the world of a grief-stricken cop, and for better or worse, Wolf of Snow Hollow doesn’t appear to be treading too far away from that material. Cummings is once again starring as a cop with a lot of personal troubles and hilariously awkward coping mechanisms. The bigger budget, apparently, just lets him add a monster to the mix.
Lots of people loved Thunder Road, though, so I doubt they’ll be too upset to see him rehash that winning formula. As for everyone else, who doesn’t love a good werewolf?
The Wolf of Snow Hollow is directed by Jim Cummings and stars Cummings, Riki Lindhome, and Robert Forster. It will be released in the US on October 9th, 2020. For international release dates, click here.
