I’ve never wanted to complicate the old tales like Snow White. It’s difficult enough to explain to a kid why a young girl lives with seven dwarfs. Thus, we let Hollywood do it and then comes the story of the Huntsman – oddly enough. Freya, the Ice Queen (Emily Blunt), resurrects her sister, Ravenna (Charlize Theron), to help conquer the land. The only hope to save it lies in Freya’s own band of elite warriors, Eric, the Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth), and Sara (Jessica Chastain), his forbidden lover.
