An epidemic spreads within a 1969 all-girls school. All the young women are suffering from random fits of fainting. One of the more clever girls, Lydia, seeks to discover the truth behind these odd happenings. At the same time, she tries to retain her tenuous friendship with fellow free spirit, Abbie. Her investigation leads Lydia to confront the authority figures that affect her life and past. The Falling promises to deliver as a mesmerizing psychological drama from the same mind that brought you Dreams Of A Life.
Written and directed by Carol Morley, The Falling stars Maisie Williams and Greta Scacchi.
You can expect a full U.K. release April 24th 2015 after showing in both the London and Glasgow film festivals. There is currently no release for U.S. theaters.
