A movie about the love of filmmaking, from one of our most beloved filmmakers, Steven Spielberg looks to woo us in The Fabelmans.
The film follows Sammy Fabelman from age seven to eighteen as he falls in love with movie-making while dealing with his family’s struggles.
As the trailer says, “Movies are dreams, that you never forget.” Responses from early film festival reviews paint this as a work from the heart, inspired by his own story, so it’ll be interesting to see what Spielberg has crafted for us this time.
The Fabelmans is directed by Steven Spielberg, written by Steven Spielberg and Tony Kushner, and stars Paul Dano, Michelle Williams, Gabriel LaBelle, and Judd Hirsch. It will be released in the US in theaters on November 24th. For international release dates click here.
