THE BOY Trailer

Well…it’s my childhood nightmare put on the big screen. Thanks, Hollywood. An American nanny is tasked with looking after an 8-year-old English boy . After actually meeting the family, she finds the boy to actually be a life-sized doll created to replace the actual son. Then it gets weirder. After ignoring the list of rules she was given, the nanny finds the doll to be moving on its own. Even more creepy is the fact that the original child is hinted to be a psychopath. With all that information, they don’t do the most obvious thing. Burn it with fire.

The Boy is directed by William Brent Bell and stars Lauren Cohan and Rupert Evans. It opens January 22nd, 2016 in the U.S. and February 19th, 2016 in the U.K. The only other country listed is the Netherlands with a February 25th 2016 release. There are currently no other dates available.
