THE BOB’S BURGERS MOVIE Trailer

The long-running tv series moves to the big screen in The Bob’s Burgers Movie, the feature debut of directors Loren Bouchard and Bernard Derriman.

Like in the series, the film follows the Belcher family, who are hit with two separate catastrophes. First, they only have a week to pay their bills and keep their burger joint open. Second, a sinkhole has opened up directly in front of said restaurant. Some family members struggle with the pressures while others keep their energy up and try to solve their problems through unorthodox methods.

The series has been part of Fox’s animation lineup since 2011 and appears in syndication on Comedy Central’s Adult Swim, which should give you a good idea of the tone of the series. Created by Bouchard with both he and Derriman working long-term on the series, the retention of these key players makes it seem like the movie will be much the same as the series, just a longer entry playing on a larger screen.

Also being retained from tv to film is the voice cast, which includes H. Jon Benjamin, Kristen Schaal, Dan Mintz, John Roberts, and Eugene Mirman as the Belcher family.

The series has built a loyal audience, who should make the film into a hit.

The Bob’s Burgers Movie is directed by Loren Bouchard and Bernard Derriman and stars H. Jon Benjamin, Kristen Schaal, Dan Mintz, John Roberts, and Eugene Mirman. It will be released in the US and the UK on May 27th, 2022. For international release dates, click here.
