TERMINATOR GENISYS (2015) – First Trailer
Along with Mad Max, another franchise is getting a reboot next year, and that’s Terminator. After the fourth installment, Terminator Salvation, in 2009, which was, to say gently, not a big success, Genisys is to breathe new life into the franchise.
The first trailer for the upcoming Schwarzenegger movie was released yesterday – check it out now:
Terminator Genisys features Game of Thrones’ Khaleesi Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor, Arnold Schwarzenegger takes on a double role as the Terminator (and has seemingly found the Fountain of Youth, praise the powers of CGI), and Jai Courtney plays Kyle Reese, who goes back in time to try to prevent Judgment Day from happening. It was directed by Alan Taylor. It’s scheduled for release on July 1, 2015 in the United States.
What do you think, does this show promise? Are you eager to see this fifth Terminator movie?
I’m still a little confused why they went for “Genisys” instead of Genesis, but maybe that’s just me.
