It’s the next inevitable step for an industry that refuses to try new ideas. Adapt a film that utilizes voice-over so “star” power is no longer or rarely necessary. If star power is no longer necessary, studios don’t have to shell out millions of dollars to have that one actor everyone likes.

“Jessie Owens faced adversity because of the color of his skin but went on to win four gold medals”. That is as far as this movie’s logline goes, but it doesn’t do it justice. I don’t think Owens’ triumph over German athletes defined who he was as a man.
I have a preference for the fantasy gangster genre. Heck, I even want to make one when I get the money and it’ll be brilliant. Before I become too engrossed on that point, I’d like to mention it’s refreshing to find a film willing to be diverse and yet not be.
There is no doubt that Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens is the most anticipated film of winter 2015. Some may even consider it the most discussed of the 2010s so far, if not ever.
IMDb describes Bone Tomahawk as a horror western in which four men set out to rescue captives from cannibalistic cave dwellers. Honestly, it looks fun enough with Matthew Fox’s character shooting anyone that even tries to talk to their group. Then there’s that “cannibal” trying to stick a large bone down Kurt Russell’s mouth.
