“Excuse me,” I hear you say, “I know exactly which films I need to see in 2015.” You’ve no doubt been bombarded with teasers and trailers by now, and you wait with baited breath for… which franchise is it?
Now that the summer sun has set and winter is on the way, it’s as good a time as any to reflect on the best that cinemas had to offer for those who wished to hide away from the heat in darkened screening rooms. Without further ado, here are my top five kings of summer blockbusters 2014. 5.
As the summer movie season begins to wind down a bit and the little ones return to school, it is a sign that the best films of the year are approaching. You see, studios like to have their best films fresh on the minds of critics when award season rolls around. While 2014 has been a disappointing year in film so far, there is a light at the end of the tunnel and it is fast approaching.
Anyone can get excited about the upcoming blockbusters, but compiled here is a list of the lesser-praised – but just as awesome – films that are due to grace the theaters in 2015. I know I’m looking forward to hearing and seeing more about these films, many of which may knock our socks off. 10.
