At this year’s Sundance Film Festival I was able to sit down with director Martha Stephens & leads Liana Liberato and Kara Hayward to discuss their new film To The Stars.
The drama, which takes place in 1960’s small-town Oklahoma, is about the shy teenager Iris (Kara Hayward) who becomes friends with the outgoing new girl Maggie (Liana Liberato).
We discussed the initial draw of the script, the creation and casting of the film, their impressions of the characters, and more!
To The Stars had its premiere January 26th at the Sundance Film Festival.
