SONIC THE HEDGEHOG Trailer

When an unsuspecting sheriff (James Marsden) in Montana sees what appears to be a flying object speed by his squad car he decides to track it. When he finally corners the unknown object, it turns out to be a relatively benign hedgehog from outer space. Once he befriends Sonic (Ben Schwartz), the two set out on a cross country trip to collect Sonic’s rings, which he needs to protect himself. While on their road trip, the two are chased by Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey) and the entire U.S. government.

Things have taken a turn for the worse since the release of the first Sonic the Hedgehog trailer. Some of the fans argued the character’s teeth looked like human teeth. Within two days of the release of the first Sonic trailer director Jeff Fowler announced both Paramount and Sega had agreed to change the character’s look to make it the best it could be. No details were given as to what specific changes the companies have in mind.

Sonic the Hedgehog is directed by Jeff Fowler and stars Ben Schwartz, Jim Carrey, James Marsden and Tika Sumpter. It will be released on December 26th, 2019 in the U.K. and on November 8th, 2019 in the U.S. For international release dates click here.
