Film Inquiry presents So Grosse, Such Pointe, Much Blank, a new podcast obsessively devoted to contextualizing and celebrating Grosse Pointe Blank (1997). Each week, join hosts Blake I. Collier and Joe George for a deep dive into the discographies and filmographies of all the cast, crew, and musicians featured in the film as well as a minute-by-minute analysis and interviews with first-time viewers, critics, cast & crew, etc.!
This week, Blake and Joe are surprised and delighted by Nash’s final album for ABC-Paramount, Studio Time, and dig into why the album works so well even when it is tonally all over the place. We also talk about music writing on vinyl sleeves, Moby, and the Kmart guy who doesn’t make a living wage. Oh, and James Bond makes an appearance as well. Always remember, this podcast is us…breathing.
