Hannah and Tahir fall in love on the streets of New York. They are both homeless. Shelter explores their pasts and leads to the realization that they need each other to have a future.
Just to be clear, this isn’t a story about homeless people. It’s about Jarvis/ The Vision directing the Falcon to hook up with the 2003 incarnation of The Hulk’s Betty Page (who is Jarvis’ real life wife). At least that’s how I’m interpreting it. I will warn you though, it has some great cinematography and showcases some of Jennifer Connelly’s best acting since Requiem for a Dream. Additionally, New York’s homeless do not look like the actors portrayed here. That’s your PSA for the the day.
Shelter is directed by Paul Bettany and stars Anthony Mackie and Amy Hargreaves. A limited U.S. release is expected November 13th 2015, and a full U.K. release is expected November 27th 2015. At this time, there are no other release dates known.
