The two New York Times reporters Megan Twohey and Jodi Kantor and their breaking story chronicling Hollywood’s disturbing accounts of sexual abuse from Harvey Weinstein comes to the screen in She Said.
From director Maria Schrader and with a stacked cast of A-list talent, She Said appears to pay tribute to the women behind the investigation, and the brave voices who spoke up. Megan Twohey is played by Carey Mulligan and Jodi Kantor by Zoe Kazan.
The film focuses on what led up to the exposé and the start of the #MeToo movement, and what brought down one of Hollywood’s most powerful men.
She Said is directed by Maria Schrader, written by Rebecca Lenkiewicz, and stars Carey Mulligan, Zoe Kazan, Patricia Clarkson, Angela Yeoh, and Andre Braugher. She Said will be released in theaters on November 18th. For international release dates click here.
