While watching the trailer for Get a Job, I actually found myself thinking about how young Anna Kendrick and Miles Teller looked. I initially chalked it up to excellent genetics, but then I read that the film was shot way back in 2012. It sat in the can for undisclosed reasons (not a good sign), and its director and writers haven’t had a single film credit since (really not a good sign).
The dating scene scares me. That is because I’m a simple man with simple tastes. Is it really too much to ask for a woman who enjoys role playing and tying me up?
We currently live in an age where the classic rom-com has become taboo. Jerry Maguire and When Harry Met Sally have been traded out for Trainwreck and now Sleeping with Other People. The problem with this new modern movement is that the emotional heart of the original 80s and 90s films are mostly lost.
