Visionary director Christopher Nolan is back with his newest, the biographical story of scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer.
Frequent Nolan collaborating Cillian Murphy plays the titular J. Robert Oppenheimer in this biographical feature about the American theoretical physicist and his role in the creation of the atomic bomb. An A-list cast includes Robert Downey Jr, Emily Blunt, Florence Pugh, Matt Damon, and many others.
This looks to be quite an experience both intellectually and ethically as we dive into this time in history, with Nolan‘s usual flair for a visually impressive feature.
Oppenheimer is based on the book by Kai Bird and Martin Sherwin and written for the screen and directed by Christopher Nolan and stars Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr, Emily Blunt, and Florence Pugh. It will be released in US theaters on July 21st, 2023. For international release dates click here.
