MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS Trailer

A cold and familiar murder mystery is coming your way as Kenneth Branagh takes a stab at Agatha Christie’s famous novel.

Murder on the Orient Express is the second time the book has been adapted for the big screen, and like the 1974 version, the cast is such a star-studded assemblage that it’s hard to focus on any one suspect. It would be tiresome to list them all, that’s how large the cast is, and a chuckle-worthy amount of time is spent giving each a moment in this trailer.

But hey, the litany of suspects is part of the fun, and who wouldn’t sign up for a lavish Branagh production? He’s been making sumptuous films since his Shakespeare days, and his recent live-action take on Cinderella was an impressive display of candy-colored beauty.

Branagh himself plays the mustachioed detective Hercule Poirot, who must solve the mystery before another victim turns up. The trick for this production is that most people will know the resolution going in, so Branagh and company will have to keep you entertained with storytelling flair. Branagh’s made quite the career doing just that, so expect Murder on the Orient Express to be a mustache twirling good time.

Murder on the Orient Express is directed by Kenneth Branagh and stars Penélope CruzWillem Dafoe, and Judi Dench. It will be released in the U.K. on November 3rd, 2017 and in the U.S. on November 10th, 2017. For international release dates, click here.
