The beginning of the end for Ethan Hunt starts in Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning – Part One.

Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) has been at this for a long time. He’s lost colleagues and friends, found new foes, and saved the world on countless occasions. In this chapter, there are a lot of familiar faces, one from the very first film with Luther (Ving Rhames) and others including Simon Pegg as Benji and Ilsa (Rebecca Ferguson).

Cruise has proven throughout these seven films that he’s willing to see this through and this action star has put himself through some pretty incredible stunts to do so. This has been said to clock in around 3 hours so it should be quite the summer blockbuster.

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning – Part One is the penultimate film to the final in the series (or at least with Ethan Hunt). What awaits him? We’ll have to wait and see, but luckily not long as the next is slated for 2024.

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning – Part One is directed by Christopher McQuarrie and stars Tom Cruise,  Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, and Simon Pegg. It will be released in theaters in the US on July 13th, 2023. For international release dates click here.
