MACBETH Trailer

If you don’t know who William Shakespeare is, we have failed you as a society. Hollywood has decided to make up for that shortcoming with the story of Macbeth. This interpretation comes as a war drama that has way more colors and wide shots than my middle school English class informed me about. A duke of Scotland receives a prophecy that he will become King. Spurred to fulfill this prophecy by his wife, he murders the original king and steals the crown for himself. Afterwards, cue the guilt and paranoia for even more intrigue. See kids, you don’t need explosions to be awesome.

Macbeth is directed by Justin Kurzel. It starts Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard as Lord and Lady Macbeth. You can expect it to come out October 2nd 2015 in the U.K. U.S. moviegoers get a limited run starting on December 4th 2015. For the full list, click here.
