“Last Christmas I gave you my heart …..” Most people will probably be able to finish that line, if not the entire song. “Last Christmas” by Wham! is a true Christmas classic. Last Christmas by Paul Feig is a film about a young woman named Kate (Emilia Clarke) struggling to pick up the pieces of her life after a health scare. Things take a turn for the better once Kate meets Tom (Henry Golding). It takes a while for Kate to warm to Tom but once she does, the two become inseparable.
Last Christmas is part of the annual slew of Christmas themed films that comes out in the weeks leading up to Christmas. Most of them tend to come and go but some stick around, to go on and be programmed for the holiday TV period every year. We’ll have to wait and see what kind of film Last Christmas is but considering the talent involved, it certainly has a shot at becoming a much beloved Christmas classic.
Last Christmas is directed by Paul Feig starring Emilia Clarke, Henry Golding, Michelle Yeoh and Emma Thompson. It will be released on November 8th, 2019 in the U.S. and in the U.K. on November, 15th, 2019. For international release dates click here.
