JURASSIC WORLD DOMINION Trailer

Everything old is new again in Jurassic World Dominion, the latest from director Colin Trevorrow.

IMDB says the plot summary for this is being kept under wraps, which is hilarious because the plot of every Jurassic Park movie is: dinosaurs. Or in the immortal words of Ian Malcolm: “Ooooh, Aaaah. That’s how it always starts. But then later there’s running and, um, screaming.”

The twist in Dominion is that dinosaurs are loose across the world, wreaking havoc and getting their munch on anywhere humans have settled. Everyone is needed to save us this time, which means the whole gang from the original Jurassic Park is back along with the Jurassic World crew.

Yep, Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum star alongside Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt, which is what the ’90s kids wanted all along. Dinosaur stars include Velociraptors (and their clicky claw), T. rexes, Apatosauruses, and Parasaurolophuses (who move in herds!).

Trevorrow returns to bookend the Jurassic World trilogy, looking to lift the series out of reboot doldrums. Let’s face it, World never quite captured the imagination like the original Jurassic Park did, and all the sequels have fought to justify their existence. This is weird because they aren’t complicated movies. As I said, they’re about dinosaurs, and on that level, all the films at least have their moments.

Jurassic World Dominion is directed by Colin Trevorrow and stars Bryce Dallas Howard, Chris Pratt, Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, and dinosaurs. It will be released in the US and the UK on June 10th, 2022. For international release dates, click here.

As always, I will be rooting for Rexy to eat everyone. Who will you root for?
