JOY trailer

Many women identify with Jennifer Lawrence because they can relate to her down-to-Earth personality. More than that is that she plays strong female leads independent of men. This new trailer showcases the ideal narrative for female empowerment. Joy is a woman raised on the idea that women have to meet the standards of tradition such as marriage and children. Instead of that, she founds a business and becomes a matriarch. This is only after having experienced betrayal, the woes of love, and the loss of innocence. Instead of going into more detail, I’ll just tell you it’s coming in December so mark your calendars.
Joy is directed by David O. Russell and stars Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper again. The U.S. release will be December 25th, 2015 with a January 1st, 2016 release for the U.K. For the full list, point your cursor here.
