JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 3 – PARABELLUM Trailer

John Wick prepares his tea and settles in for a quiet night by the fireplace in John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum. Just kidding, he’s going to kick ass all the way across New York City.
The hitman of action junkies’ dreams, Keanu Reeves’ Wick finds himself in quite a bind after the escalation of Chapter 2. Having killed in the sacred halls of the Continental and been declared excommunicado, Wick must somehow escape New York City without losing his head. That’s no small task considering the $14 million bounty on it, and with no access to the underground world that provides weapons, shelter, and sharp suits, a safe and classy exit seems like a long shot.
If people were concerned that Chapter 2 wouldn’t live up to the original film, none of that has hesitation has carried over for Chapter 3. Series director Chad Stahelski and writer Derek Kolstad already proved they aren’t one-trick ponies, and the danger now is that expectations might be too high for them to hit. They didn’t help themselves by revealing that John Wick will fight on a freaking horse in this one, and if there’s anything cooler than that, I’m not aware of it.
The other major addition here is Halle Berry’s dog-toting assassin, who is seemingly Wick’s last friend in the city. Luckily she comes with the best backup since Veronica Mars, so there’s a chance this crazy scenario might not be the end for our beleaguered hero.
John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum is directed by Chad Stahelski and stars Keanu Reeves, Halle Berry, and Laurence Fishburne. It will be released in the US and the UK on May 17th, 2019. For international release dates, click here.
