ISA TOP 25 SCREENWRITERS TO WATCH Interview With Zoë Hodge

Avatar photo

Each year, The International Screenwriters’ Association compiles a list of the 25 screenwriters to watch. This year, Film Inquiry is here to guide you through the incredible list of gifted individuals!

Our next writer is Zoë Hodge. Film Inquiry spoke with Zoë Hodge about the content that has inspired her, her writing process, projects, and more!

This is her bio below:

Zoë Hodge is an award winning writer and director born in the Boogie-Down-Bronx. Zoë s work often explores yearning and the deep solitude that comes from denying yourself your desires and all that s natural to you. As a writer, Zoë grew up on Everybody Hates Chris and Jane Austen adaptations, so when she s not reimagining trauma into rom-comedies or rom-dramas, she s diversifying and rewriting literary classics. As a filmmaker, Zoë uses dance and surreal techniques to showcase and elevate emotional moments in an attempt to bring form to a nameless feeling.

We want to thank Zoë Hodge for speaking with us.
