Indy is back again for the fifth adventure in James Mangold‘s Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.
There isn’t much discernable regarding the plot from the trailer alone, but we know that Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) is back, as well as longtime friend Sallah (John Rhys-Davies). There’s also newcomer Phoebe Waller-Bridge as Helena, Boyd Holbrook, and Antonio Banderas.
Nostalgia is mixed with a new action-packed endeavor, with new villains and sticky situations for Indiana to find himself in. The trailer leans pretty heavily into the allure of dedicated fanbases, but after 40+ years there’s something commendable about the fact that our favorite archeologist is still on the screen.
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is directed by James Mangold and stars Harrison Ford, John Rhys-Davies, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Boyd Holbrook, and Antonio Banderas. It will be released in theaters on June 23rd, 2023. For more release dates click here.
