HALLOWEEN Trailer

This year’s Halloween promises to be especially scary given the release of the first Halloween franchise film in 16 years to star Jamie Lee Curtis since the poorly received Halloween: Resurrection. The latest instalment in the series has Michael Myers escape from a prisoner transport to return to his hometown once again. The difference between this film and previous instalments is the fact Laurie Strode has had a lifetime to prepare for a final confrontation with her grim tormentor. In other words, she has gone full Sarah Connor.
During the 2018 Halloween Comic Con panel, Jamie Lee Curtis talked about the psychological nature of the script for the upcoming Halloween film, putting great emphasis on Laurie’s mind-set after experiencing the highly traumatic events of the first film. That fateful night in 1978 has controlled her life to the point where she has trained herself for years believing Michael would return to Haddonfield, Illinois. Now that Michael is on the loose once again she will finally have a chance to confront her demon. It will be exciting to see Laurie get a chance to confront, and hopefully defeat, Michael once and for all.
Halloween is directed by David Gordon Green and stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer and Andi Matichak. It will be released in the U.K. and in the U.S. on October 19th, 2018. For international release dates click here.
