HALLOWEEN KILLS Trailer

The tables are turned in Halloween Kills, the latest movie to prove Laurie Strode and Michael Myers are bad at killing each other.

Picking up right where 2018’s Halloween left off, Michael breaks out of the elaborate trap Laurie had set for him and continues his rampage through town. His slicing and dicing have alerted others to his presence, though, so he’ll have to deal with more than just Laurie on his tail as he wraps up his holiday ritual. The believers unite behind the Strode women, who try to organize them into a force strong enough to take down the monster (but something tells me they won’t be successful).

The 2018 reboot received mild reviews from critics but did well at the box office, with everyone happy to see Jamie Lee Curtis return to the franchise as a traumatized but the determined version of Laurie. That was enough to earn director David Gordon Green another crack at the story, one that will hopefully let his oddball sensibilities really unfurl.

Also returning is Judy Greer as Laurie’s daughter Karen and Andi Matichak as granddaughter Allyson. They, along with Curtis, are the ladies who will try to carry this feminist-infused iteration of the franchise to even greater heights, but there’s always a possibility for a massacre.

Halloween Kills is directed by David Gordon Green and stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, and Andi Matichak. It will be released in the US and the UK on October 15th, 2021. For international release dates, click here.
