We’re back at Rydell high with the spinoff of Grease in the new musical television series: Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies.
“Grease is the word” and in this prequel, we get the backstory to the popular girl’s gang: The Pink Ladies with Jane (Marisa Davila), Olivia (Cheynne Isabel Wells), Cynthia (Ari Notartomaso), Nancy (Tricia Fukuhara), and Hazel (Shanel Bailey).
It’ll be interesting to see how this matches the feel of the original and beloved film. From the trailer, it has an opportunity to attract old and newer audiences alike.
Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies is directed by Alethea Jones, Jamal Sims, and Diego Velasco and stars Jackie Hoffman, Madison Thompson, Marisa Davila and will be streaming on April 6th on Paramount+
