GOOSEBUMPS Trailer

Goosebumps

Why are you here, Jack Black? You weren’t a part of my childhood. No, you were the uncredited side character during my awkward adolescent years! Brought to you by the same people who sold off any form of integrity in their mother’s womb is the silverscreen adaptation of R.L Stine’s Goosebumps. Look, I won’t lie to you. I lost it when he said that every story ever told is broken down into a beginning, a middle, and “the twist”. Furthermore, have you even met R.L Stine? He’s a normal guy in interviews. For some reason, Black seems to be channeling a bad interpretation of Truman Capote. As the story goes, a team of kids and “R.L Stine” try to stop the writer’s imaginary creatures from rampaging in the town of Greendale, Maryland.

Goosebumps is directed by Rob Letterman and stars Jack Black and Odeya Rush. You can expect it October 16th 2015 in the States and February 5th 2016 for the U.K. If neither of these countries match yours, click here.

They actually used the word “demons” to describe Stine’s creatures. Do you think the “abominable snowman” is a demon? I still see him during Christmas specials.
