Chris Evans has gone from Captain America to Captive American in Appletv+’s romantic comedy adventure: Ghosted.
When down-to-earth Cole (Chris Evans) meets Sadie (Ana de Armas) and they have a magical time together, he thinks he’s found the one. Problem is, ever since returning to the UK she hasn’t responded is texts. Is she ghosting him, or is there a reasonable explanation?
In a grand romantic gesture, he heads to London only to be shocked and nearly killed when he discovers she’s a secret agent. Now he’s stuck on a mission to save the world.
I wasn’t sure where this trailer was going, but I didn’t expect it to go there. It’s been proven that these two have terrific chemistry before and it’s always fun to watch Evans be saved by someone else for a change. I’ll be checking it out.
Ghosted is directed by Dexter Fletcher and stars Ana de Armas, Chris Evans, and Amy Sedaris. It will be released to streaming on April 21, 2023, on Appletv+.
