What happens when competing siblings of a criminal family want to be the one that ends up on top, but their heirs begin to mysteriously die? That’s the question that horror master Mike Flanagan will be attempting to answer in his new Netflix series, The Fall of The House of Usher.
Based on the story of the same name as well as other works by Edgar Allan Poe, the limited series was created and written by Flanagan for Netflix and directed by Flanagan and Michael Fimognari. The show is billed as a “gothic horror drama,” and centers around a corrupt crime family just trying to survive while still maintaining their family fortune. Who will be left to claim it all, if anyone?
The limited series features a stacked cast including; Kate Siegel, Mark Hamill, Rahul Kohli, Carla Gugino, Bruce Greenwood, Mary McDonnel, Carl Lumbly, T’Nia Miller, and so many more. Check out the trailer here:
The Fall of The House of Usher is set to premiere on Netflix with all episodes becoming available on October 12th, 2023.
