D&D tries its hand at another live-action adaptation with charm, humor, and dazzling effects in Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.
Chris Pine plays Edgin the Bard, a charming thief who has to bring together a team to right some wrongs, and potentially, save the world. In his groups is Michelle Rodriguez as Holga the Barbarian, Simon the Sorcerer (Justice Smith) Xenk the Paladin (Regé-Jean Page), and Doric (Sophia Lillis). Rounding out the massive list of talent is Hugh Grant in a presumably villainous role.
It’s bound to be quite the adventure with epic battles and plenty of magic. But, can it be enough to entrance the audience? We will have to wait to find out and see!
It is directed by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, written by John Francis Daley, Jonathan Goldstein, and Michael Gilio, starring Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Justice Smith, Hugh Grant, and Sophia Lillis. It will be released in theaters on March 31st, 2023 in the US. For more international release dates click here.
