DRAGGED ACROSS CONCRETE Trailer

S. Craig Zahler is one of the most interesting directors out there today. His previous two films Bone Tomahawk and Brawl In Cell Block 99 had an exciting ’70s grindhouse feel to them that seems perfect for a film about two corrupt cops. Brett Ridgeman (Mel Gibson) and Anthony Lurasetti (Vince Vaughn) get suspended after a video of their violent conduct makes its way into the news. Left needing money to support their families, they decide to get even by committing a robbery.

The trailer for Dragged Across Concrete suggests a slightly lighter tone than the director’s previous work although with a title like Dragged Across Concrete it seems highly unlikely we’ll be spared the blood and guts of his earlier work. It’ll be interesting to see Mel Gibson star in this considering this is the kind of hard-nosed action film that made him famous.

Dragged Across Concrete is directed by S. Craig Zahler and stars Mel Gibson, Vince Vaughn, Jennifer Carpenter and Laurie Holden. It will be released in the U.K. on April 19th, 2019 and in the U.S. on March 22nd, 2019. For international release dates click here.
