THE DIVERGENT SERIES: ALLEGIANT Trailer
Okay, I am so lost here. In Hollywood’s mad scheme to leach money from teenagers and people with the mental capacity of teenagers, they’ve split the convoluted final Divergent series book Allegiant into two parts, titled The Divergent Series: Allegiant. The second film will follow in 2017, carrying the title The Divergent Series: Ascendant.
Since the book summary goes everywhere, the movie synopsis explains that Beatrice Prior and Tobias Eaton venture into the world outside of the fence. Wouldn’t that just be Chicago in this case? Anyway, they are taken into protective custody by the mysterious Bureau of Genetic Welfare. That’s not really much of a mystery then, since “genetics” is in their name. Hence, they handle the well-being of the public as it relates to genetics then…right? My head hurts.
The Divergent Series: Allegiant is directed by Robert Schwentke. It stars Shailene Woodley, Zoë Kravitz, Theo James and Miles Teller. U.K. teens can watch it March 11th, 2016, while the U.S. crowd gets a March 18th release. For full dates, click here.
