DEADPOOL 2 Trailer

It’s hard to believe it’s only been two years since we last saw our favourite potty mouthed superhero on the big screen, but thankfully he’s back. Deadpool 2 finds the merc with a mouth forming a supergroup of unlikely superheroes such as Domino (Zazie Beetz), Bedlam (Terry Crews), Shatterstar (Lewis Tan), Zeitgeist (Bill Skarsgård) and some random guy named Peter W. (Rob Delaney). The super duper group sets out on a mission to protect a young mutant named Russell (Julian Dennison) from Cable (Josh Brolin).

The first Deadpool was a surprise hit that took audiences around the world by storm. Deadpool was the first R-rated film to make more money than Mel Gibson‘s The Passion of the Christ which had held the record for years. Since then we have gotten to enjoy films like Logan which arguably wouldn’t have been greenlit without the success of Deadpool. The trailer for Deadpool looks like the studio is doubling down on its previous decision to allow its lead actor Ryan Reynolds and director David Leitch (Atomic Blonde) to take everything audiences enjoyed about the first film and turn it up to 11.

Deadpool 2 is directed by Alex Leitch and stars Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, Josh Brolin, Terry Crews and more. It will be released in the U.K. on May 15th, 2018 and in the U.S. on May 18th, 2018. For international release dates click here.
