Let’s go to Thailand!

The Siam Paragon Cineplex

I’ve actually been to the Siam Paragon shopping center in Bangkok last November, but we didn’t go to the cinema there… As tickets were insanely expensive: up to 3000 Baht, which is around 70 EUR/90 USD, yep, for real.

Anyway, I spent two days alone at our new place this week as the bf was off north on a business trip. Watched quite a bit of the BBC2 series Peaky Blinders which is pretty cool! It reminds me a lot of Boardwalk Empire both in style and in story. I may even review the first season.

Tomorrow, our kitty cat Poh is finally arriving at Perth airport and we’re really excited to finally go pick him up! Moreover, our container with stuff from The Netherlands arrived in the Fremantle harbour yesterday, so it can’t be much longer before we can finally furnish our house. However, customs held our container on the wharf apparently, let’s hope it’s not going to take too long.

I’m really excited for the Oscars on our Monday morning! It’s gon’ be gud! 😀

Finally, I have a pic for you from when we went South Perth’s foreshore last week and were treated to a beautiful sunset, highlighting the city scape behind the Swan River.

Instagram will load in the frontend.

That’s all I have for now – what are you up to this weekend? Going to watch the Oscars, too?

Also, people, please leave a link to your blog in a comment because I’d love to find new movie blogs and I really want to build a blog list every week in the Cinephile’s Cinema! This is the time to shamelessly promote your blog 😀

A sneak preview of what’s coming up on FilmInquiry next week: I’ll be discussing the Oscars and reviewing the Best Picture Winner – whichever it may be – and we’re continuing the How to Analyze a Movie Like a Boss series too!
