Tennis, temptation, and tempers fly in Luca Guadagnino‘s newest film: Challengers.

Tashi Duncan (Zendaya), a former tennis player now coach to her husband Art, (Mike Faist) is poised to help him face off against Art’s former best friend and Tashi’s ex-boyfriend Patrick (Josh O’Connor).

Sound complicated? This love triangle combined with the competitive sports world should make for an interesting diversion. And when Guadagnino is behind the camera one can expect to be, at the very least, intrigued.

Challengers is directed by Luca Guadagnino and stars Zendaya, Josh O’Connor, and Mike Faist. It will be released in theaters on September 15th, 2023. For international release dates click here.
