BULLET TRAIN Trailer

It’s a high-speed battle in Bullet Train, the latest from director David Leitch.

It was supposed to be a simple mission. Ladybug was tasked with stealing a briefcase and getting off the train, the first part of which went fairly easily. The second part, though, was complicated by unexpected players showing up, all of whom want the briefcase and are far too skilled to allow the others to have it. Thus sets up a series of brutal sparring matches within the confines of the titular mode of transport with no place to hide from the mayhem.

It’s basically the perfect setup for Leitch, the uncredited co-director of John Wick who has done much to bring back crisp, punishing action. This movie looks like a series of action set pieces, all in different areas of the train that make for fun variations on the scenario (a quiet car and a galley feature in this trailer).

Within this playground is Brad Pitt as the unexpectedly troubled Ladybug, who must face off against the throng of fellow assassins and underworld figures played by Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Zazie Beetz, Sandra Bullock, and Logan Lerman. There’s actually a lot more big names in the cast, but you get the point. This is a star-studded action thriller that promises to deliver the goods.

Bullet Train is directed by David Leitch and stars Brad Pitt, Joey King, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. It will be released in the UK on July 15th and in the US on July 29th. For international release dates, click here.
