BLINDSPOTS PODCAST EPISODE #22: WILD AT HEART & KALIFORNIA

Film Inquiry presents Blindspots with Jake and Kristy. In this new podcast series, Film Inquiry staff members and fast friends Jake Tropila and Kristy Strouse will each recommend a film they like that the other person has not seen. They will then watch the other person’s selection and come together to discuss their thoughts and reactions to both films. For those who seek hidden gems and new findings in the world of cinema, this is the podcast for you.

What’s in the cup? Why, it’s a new episode of Blindspots, of course! Jake and Kristy return with a pair of riveting 90s crime films from two American auteurs. Up first, Jake introduces Kristy to the seedy underbelly of the 1990s New York crime scene, headed up by Christopher Walken and a murderer’s row of character actors in Abel Ferrara’s King of New York. Then, Kristy takes Jake to 1993 to check out Clint Eastwood’s Kevin Costner-starring hostage road movie, A Perfect World. All this and more on an all-new episode of Blindspots. And that’s a fact.

Music in the episode featured in King of New York & A Perfect World.
