Oh, look! It’s Samuel L. Jackson! I swear he’s in every 7 out of 10 trailers I view . Anyway, so it doesn’t catch you off guard, this is a teen comedy film. Teenage special ops agent, 83 (Hailee Steinfeld), wants to be a normal high school girl. She finds her opportunity during a mission to capture a notorious arms dealer and subsequently fakes her own demise. At first settling in with her new identity and host family, she eventually becomes a Youtube celebrity. That’s when her past comes back to claim her in the form of a blonde Jessica Alba.
The awfully titled Barely Lethal is directed by Kyle Newman and stars Hailee Steinfeld and Sophie Turner. It gets a limited release on May 29th, 2015 in the U.S. For the other release dates, click here.
