BAD TRIP Trailer
Bad Trip is a film about two friends (Eric Andre and Lil’ Rel Howery) engaged in a prank war while travelling the country in Lil’ Rel’s sister’s (Tiffany Haddish) car. When she realizes her car’s been stolen, she breaks out of jail to get it back. Bad Trip takes the central concept of films like Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan and runs with it.
The idea of celebrities getting pranked has been a staple of television ever since it was popularized by shows like Punk’d. Bad Trip takes this concept and turns it on its head by letting the celebrities be the ones to prank unsuspecting civilians. Considering the fact it’s been a while since Jackass was at its peak, the time might be right for a film like Bad Trip.
Bad Trip is directed by Kitao Sakurai and stars Eric Andre, Lil’ Rel Howery and Tiffany Haddish. It will be released on February 28th, 2020 in the U.S. with an as of yet unknown U.K. release date. For international release dates click here.
