APPLESAUCE Trailer
In Onur Tukel‘s Applesauce, Ron (also played by Tukel) calls into a sketchy radio show, where they are talking about “the worst thing they’ve ever done”. Before Ron admits to the worst thing he’s ever done on-air, he’s interrupted. Later at dinner, the story still comes out, and he soon starts receiving packages containing… severed body parts. As Ron and his wife try to figure out who is sending him these more-than-odd packages, they discover things about their own and their friends’ pasts that they all wished had stayed there.
Applesauce, a dark comedy, is directed and written by Onur Tukel, and stars Max Casella, Trieste Kelly Dunne and Jennifer Prediger. It has been screened at several festivals throughout 2015, where it was received well. The film is now making its way to VOD and EST on November 24, 2015.
