Ant-Man is back again, and this time he and his family are sucked into the mysterious Quantum realm in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
For his third standalone film, Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), who had been reunited with his daughter Cassie (Kathryn Newton) in Avengers: Endgame, has gone back to the quantum realm. This time he is joined by his daughter, girlfriend Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly), and her parents Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas).
Those who have been keeping up with the MCU and its multiverses and ventures into both film and television series will recognize a familiar face in Kang The Conqueror (Jonathan Majors) and may have some theories about where this is headed. The trailer doesn’t us much more certainty than that, but it looks like a trippy, colorful adventure.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is written by Jeff Loveness, directed by Peyton Reed, and stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kathryn Newton, and Jonathan Majors. It will be released in the US on February 17th, 2023. For more information on international release dates, click here.
