ANT-MAN AND THE WASP Trailer

It’s been a while since we last saw Scott Lang, aka Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), the smallest superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, in action. He was featured in Captain America: Civil War but it’s been three years since his 2015 big screen debut. Ant-Man’s involvement in Civil War has had significant consequences for Lang, Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) who are now on the run from the authorities who are very interested in Pym’s shrinking technology.

It looks like Lang’s family will play a larger role in Ant-Man and the Wasp, which will help ground the film a bit more than the previous one, which was more of a heist comedy. This time around Lang will have a lot more help as Hope van Dyne will don her Wasp suit for the first time, meaning she’ll get to kick a lot of ass alongside Ant-Man. Another reason to get excited about this film is the fact it will introduce the original Wasp, Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) to the MCU. If all of that doesn’t get you excited, how about a supporting cast which includes Bobby Cannavale, Laurence Fishburne, Walton Goggins and Judy Greer?

Ant-Man and the Wasp is directed by Peyton Reed and stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, Michael Peña, Walton Goggins, Bobby Cannavale, Laurence FishburneJudy Greer and Michelle Pfeiffer. It will be released in the U.K. on August 3rd, 2018 and in the U.S. on July 6th, 2018. For international release dates click here.
