ALL QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT Trailer

Life in the terrifying trenches is revisited again in the World War 1 epic, All is Quiet on the Western Front.

The film follows three friends who enlist in the German army with a certain excitement for their patriotic duty. However, as the trailer shows, the idea of war and the reality of it are two very different things.

Based on the bestseller of the same name by Erich Maria Remarque, All is Quiet on the Western Front isn’t the first time an adaptation has graced our screen, but in the hands of Edward Berger, maybe something new can be brought to it. Early reviews from Film Festivals state it is a must-see, so here’s hoping it doesn’t get lost in the Netflix catalog. Though it’s sure to be a harrowing and visually stunning experience from the trailer alone, so I’d say this is one to head to the theaters for.

All is Quiet on the Western Front is written by Edward Berger, Lesley Paterson, and Ian Stokell, directed by Edward Berger, and stars Felix Kammerer, Jakob Schmidt, and Daniel Brühl. It arrives in theaters and will be released on Netflix on October 28th.
