5 Quick Tips To Start Screenwriting Now (Video)

Screenwriting. It’s one of those things many people want to do, but not many can manage doing. Before it becomes your day job and you can spend every day just writing, you have to add it to your pile of other responsibilities, and … before you know it, it’s been three months and you still haven’t written a single sentence.

Sound familiar?

It was a problem for me, too. Until I started to take matters into my own hands, and set some pretty strict rules for myself. I completed writing my script in 30 days.

I’m super busy – I run Film Inquiry, I’m a freelance website developer, I have 300 hobbies, a cat, a fiancé, friends, and I travel a lot… When the hell was I going to write a screenplay? Well, if anything, I’ve proven that it’s possible even for the busiest of people.

In this video I’ve got five tips that helped me significantly during the month that I wrote my screenplay. Watch it, let me know what you think and if you have any screenwriting tips of your own for other writers – if so, leave them in the comments! Questions are also always welcome – I’m still finding my way making these videos, and I need inspiration for more!

Oh hey, and don’t forget to hit that subscribe button! See you next time!
